Andrew S. Roskind came to Knoxville from San Diego, California after serving six years in the United States Navy. While on active duty, Andy received several awards including the Navy Achievement Medal, Letters of Commendation, Honorable Discharge, and the Southwest Asia Service Medal for service during Desert Shield/Desert Storm.
After settling in East Tennessee with his wife, Jodi, Andy attended the University of Tennessee where he received his Bachelor of Arts and Doctor of Jurisprudence Degrees. While in law school, Andy was a member of the National Moot Court team and served on the College's Moot Court Board. Prior to graduating, Andy was honored to receive the prestigious Tennessee Attorney General's Award for exhibiting superior trial advocacy skills.

Andy's primary areas of practice include adoption, family law, business consulting, litigation, and criminal defense.
In addition to practicing law, Mr. Roskind has also served as an Adjunct Professor at the University of Tennessee College of Law teaching Negotiations and Dispute Resolution.

Andy is a member of the Tennessee Bar Association (TBA) and Knoxville Bar Association (KBA). Andy currently serves as the Vice-Chair of the TBA's Criminal Justice Section. Through these several organizations, Mr. Roskind has been asked to speak at many legal seminars on topics ranging from Professional Ethics to Performing Internal Corporate Investigations.
As an adoptive parent himself, Andy Roskind understands the stress and anxiety associated with adoptions.

K.O. Herston was born and raised in Nashville, Tennessee. He graduated from Vanderbilt University and the University of Tennessee College of Law where he was on the editorial board of the Tennessee Law Review. He quickly fell in love with East Tennessee and decided to make his home in Knoxville. He has been practicing law here for twelve years.
K.O. is an avid triathlete and distance runner, having completed five marathons, including those in New York City, Los Angeles, and Paris (France). He competed in four triathlons in 2008, including the 2008 National Triathlon Championships in Portland, Oregon. He completed his first Ironman 70.3 triathlon in June 2009.
K.O. especially enjoys running with his dogs, boating on Norris Lake, cycling all over East Tennessee, hiking in Big South Fork, and reading.
In 2007, K.O. served as President of the Board of Directors for the Safe Haven Center for the Recovery from Sexual Assault. He also speaks to professional organizations and trade groups whenever possible.
